about
This is a song I recorded in 2003 and forgot about until the masters reappeared in a recent house move. I didn't have any solo work online yet, so I figured why not make this the first track? It's a rocker with a strong nod to my King's X and early Def Leppard influences.
lyrics
It's come to my attention
To give it some review
And lately I've been a fool for trouble
Forgiving everyone but you
I've hit the wall again
But I know we can work it out
And digging my heels in
Just gets me nowhere
Well I don't feel like thinking
I'm trying to forget
The little things that drive the wedge in
It's the little things I regret
We will always make mistakes
And this is far from over
And each time we come around
A little wiser, one day older
When I'm stuck in this dead end hole
And it's all gone wrong
It keeps me wondering about the next breakthrough
And where it's gonna be from
